Description Essential Functions and Duties Senior leadership role responsible for driving the expansion of Hillendale Home Care into new markets. This position will lead the full cycle of opening new office locations—from market analysis and site selection to team hiring, onboarding, and operational launch. This role will ensure that each new office achieves strong operational foundations, delivers exceptional client care, and reaches positive gross profit by the end of its first year. Strategic Expansion Conduct market analysis to identify and prioritize new office locations. Develop and execute detailed launch plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation. Oversee site setup, licensing, compliance, and operational readiness for each new location. Team Building & Leadership Recruit, hire, and onboard key leadership roles for each new office, including General Manager, Community Partner, Staffing Manager, and Client Care Manager Ensure new leaders are equipped with tools, training, and operational support to succeed in their roles. Build a strong, values-driven culture that aligns with Hillendale's mission of care and service excellence. Operational Oversight Develop and maintain a new site Playbook that establishes standardized operating procedures and processes for each department and role for easy plug-and-play for new hires and new site start-ups. Establish and measure site performance metrics, providing regular reporting for each new site's timeline deliverables. Manage site General Managers to ensure locational performance deliverables including monitor key KPIs: client acquisition, caregiver retention, managed hours, revenue growth, and profitability. Partner internally to troubleshoot business and people operations challenges and implement scalable solutions to ensure smooth business operations. Financial & Strategic Accountability Drive each new site to achieve positive gross profit by the end of its first year of operations. Monitor revenue, expenses, and margin performance against targets, taking corrective action where needed. Report on growth progress and profitability to executive leadership, with clear recommendations for ongoing optimization. Leadership & Development Responsible for interviewing, hiring and onboarding all new site employees Management of site leadership, providing development, coaching, and mentoring to foster team building and performance. Planning, assigning and directing work of direct reports including appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems. Local travel up to 50%; domestic travel may be required up to 25%. Other Responsibilities and Duties Practice good housekeeping techniques for office workspace. Ability to present professional appearance and behavior in accordance with Hillendale’s policies Requirements Education, Experience, Certification and Training Bachelor’s degree in Business, Healthcare Administration, or related field. 10+ years of progressive leadership experience in operations, strategy, or business development, ideally in healthcare, home care, or multi-site service industries. Demonstrated track record of opening or scaling multiple business offices. Strong financial acumen with ability to manage budgets, forecasts, and P&L performance. Expertise in building, developing, and retaining high-performing teams. Excellent project management, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. Proficiency of state and local regulations related to home care agency licensing.
