Description:
The Supplier Quality Director is responsible for managing and overseeing Operating Unit (ME & PAR) supplier base for ingredients and packaging materials.
The role involves searching, developing, auditing, approving, and monitoring suppliers to ensure compliance with legal and company standards, specifications, and requirements.
The Supplier Quality Director will also drive and support innovation and productivity initiatives, collaborating with various departments of TI&SC (Technical, Innovation & Supply Chain) to ensure seamless integration of supplier activities within the Bottlers operations.
QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Food Science, Engineering, related technical field
10+ years’ experience in a technical area such as supplier management and development, R&D product development, quality systems, and/or engineering background.
- Fluent in English and Arabic
- Knowledge of statistics, including fundamental analyses with the ability to demonstrated proven analytical skills resulting in decision making that protects the customer, consumer and the brand.
- Strong working knowledge with Quality Systems and implementation of Quality Systems
- Strong working knowledge of Quality Assurance Principles and Food safety
- Previous experience with project management, continuous improvement, supplier and customer management
- Knowledge of manufacturing and process controls for beverage ingredient and packaging
- Protect information provided in confidence from outside sources (bottlers and other business partners) and ensure this information is not disseminated to those not directly involved.
- Establish relationships and work effectively with external individuals/parties (e.g., suppliers, bottling partners, customers, bottlers, consumers, government agencies, ) in order to create opportunities for the Company to meet financial goals.
- Build and develop relationships with peers and others to exchange feedback on product/service issues, identify and/or solve problems, assess needs, and/or achieve business results.
- Build an understanding of the customer/client/partner needs and expectations within your area of accountability.

Responsibilities:
- The Supplier Quality Director is responsible for Operating Unit QSE implementation strategies and policies in the Suppliers (ingredients and packaging materials) to protect and enhance The Coca-Cola Company resources, assets, trademarks, and corporate reputation.
- Perform supplier audits to assess capabilities, compliance, and performance, ensuring suppliers meet company QSE standards, specifications, and legal requirements, and facilitating the approval process for new suppliers and ingredients/packaging materials, in alignment with innovation goals.
- Lead effective management of ingredient & packaging suppliers as per Company requirements (carbon dioxide, sugar, closures, labels etc.)
- Monitor supplier performance and quality through regular reviews and performance metrics. Address and resolve any supplier-related issues or non-compliance.
- Implement and oversee supplier improvement programs, promoting continuous improvement and innovation.
- Participate in cross-functional teams to support new product development, process improvements, and innovation initiatives. Work closely with Procurement, QSE, TI&SC and other departments to align supplier activities with company goals, emphasizing innovation and sustainability.
- Ensure effective management of Sustainable Agriculture principals for suppliers as per Company PSA (Principles for Sustainable Agriculture) requirements.
- Continue to build resilience Supply Chain by continuing implementing our Supplier localization strategy.
- Strengthen end-to-end Supplier Governance ensuring compliance & consistent quality and in parallel developing the future capacities. Provide leadership and conduct assessments/audits to suppliers.
