Description
Responsibilities
Lead a diverse team of up to 40 dedicated personnel across multiple sites in Tasmania and across the 4 research stations within the Australian Antarctic Program.
Represent Supply Chain Operations across internal and external stakeholder groups (including external agencies, regulators, logistics providers etc)
Drive the continuous improvement and uplift of people, processes, physical assets and systems.
Anticipate and establish priorities for the Supply Chain Operations section in support of seasonal objectives.
Provide strategic advice and direction relating to the Supply Chain Operation’s capabilities and capacities.
Manage capital and operational budgets efficiently and responsibly.
Exercise sound judgement and decision-making to navigate complex operational risks.
Support organisational transformation through adaptive leadership and effective change management.
Champion a safe working environment.
