As the Director of Supply Chain & Procurement, you’ll lead and optimize the end-to-end supply chain operations that power our fiber network buildouts. You’ll oversee procurement, vendor management, warehouse operations, and logistics, driving cost efficiency, scalability, and innovation. KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES REQUIRED

• Demonstrated ability to communicate complex supply chain & procurement strategies clearly and effectively, both verbally and in writing.
• In-depth knowledge of procurement strategies, supplier negotiations, and cost optimization techniques to support both short-term and long-term company objectives.
• Skilled in managing multiple complex supply chain projects simultaneously, ensuring timely execution & alignment with company priorities.
• Proven experience in leading and influencing cross-functional teams, setting clear expectations, and driving collaboration to achieve organizational goals.
• Expertise in MS Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, Word) and proficiency in procurement and supply chain management software (e.g., Smart Sheets, SAP, Oracle).

OTHER EXPERIENCE & REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Engineering, or related field.
• 7–10+ years of progressive supply chain and procurement experience, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
• Certification in supply chain or procurement (e.g., CSCP, CPSM, PMP).
• Proven success in telecom, fiber optics, broadband, or infrastructure-heavy industries.
• Strong background in warehouse/logistics operations and inventory optimization.
• Experience with ERP and supply chain tools (e.g., SAP, NetSuite, Oracle, Coupa, WMS platforms).
• Excellent leadership, negotiation, & analytical skills.
• Ability to adapt and thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment with shifting priorities.
• Experience scaling operations in a high-growth or startup environment.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

• Create and implement procurement strategies that align with company growth goals and fiber deployment timelines.
• Lead sourcing, negotiation, & contract management for key materials such as fiber optic cable, conduit, network electronics, and construction services.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, OEMs, and distributors to ensure reliable supply, competitive pricing, and performance.
• Manage risk through supplier diversification & proactive inventory planning.
• Oversee warehouse operations including inventory control, receiving, material staging, and outbound logistics.
• Develop efficient logistics networks for just-in-time delivery of materials to field crews and construction sites.
• Implement warehouse management systems (WMS) and improve space utilization & material flow.
• Ensure compliance with safety protocols and regulatory requirements in warehouse and logistics operations.
• Partner with construction, engineering, and finance teams to forecast demand, manage budgets, and align procurement with project timelines.
• Develop KPIs and reporting systems to monitor performance, inventory turns, cost savings, and supplier scorecards.
