KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Lead and be responsible for the Value Chain Risk Management (VCRM) process for IMSC across the products and entire product portfolio
  • Lead prioritization of product assessments and refreshes, ensuring progress to plan (for Value Chain Lead (VCL)/Value Chain Teams (VCTs) to implement)
  • Drive the VCLs to create robust resilience and Business Continuity Plan (BCP) strategies for their products (creation of the mitigation action plan (MAP) from the assessment)
  • Mature product supply risk processes to improve effectiveness, consistency, portfolio level and with the functions (Manufacturing & Technical Operations (MTO), Deliver, Source, and Plan) on a creating a consolidated view on IMSC risk and resiliency
  • Mature digital strategy and deliver roadmap of digital capabilities and tools to improve performance, efficiency, and consistency of the critical risk and resilience processes
  • Provide portfolio-based overview to ensure individual product BCPs/MAPs are aligned to the functional strategies and make sense across the portfolio of products
  • Lead consolidation of MAPs across products and sites and ensure alignment with customers on prioritization
  • Consolidate the resilience investment for Long Range Finance Plan / Business Plan (LRFP/BP) for product and portfolio BCPs/MAPs, (includes dual sourcing as well as inventory strategies) and drive and influence portfolio level business trade off decisions
  • Track progress of product MAPs, with a cadence of updates to VCM and IMSC Leadership, and provide input to the JJSC VCRM team on IMSC progress
  • Facilitate IMSC level management review on product and portfolio level value chain resiliency
  • Lead IMSC and cross-functional teams in evaluating and establishing mitigation strategies against enterprise-wide strategic risk to product supply (e.g., geopolitical)
  • Ensure IMSC, VCM, and VCL awareness and compliance of new and emerging governmental regulations on product supply BCP requirements
  • Participate in crisis management / recovery activities as required, and potentially play a leading role in the event the crisis is cross-product and IMSC focused
  • Act as the primary liaison to JJSC VCRM and through this relationship actively participate in shaping, improving, and implementing standards processes, risk policies, and insights creation
  • Support JJSC in communicating to governments and customers on BCP policy
