Job Title Director System Design IGT Systems Job Description Director System Design IGT Systems Lead a global system engineering department driving innovation and quality for complex medical imaging platforms within Image Guided Therapy (IGT) Systems. You are also part of the System Development Cluster (SDC) which is overall responsible for all system level activities related to IGT Systems Your role: Leading the System Engineering Department and Competence in combination with Product Safety Risk Management for the whole of IGT Systems Supporting development and release of solutions for our Azurion and Allura platforms, including IGT products as well as 3rd party products. Support the definition of our solutions roadmap, for both new product introductions as well as life cycle management activities for the installed base. Enabling & supporting the quality processes related to medical device development, risk management, post market surveillance etc. Actively maintain and advance our system engineering practices, by driving transformations in Model Based System Engineering, Modularization of Subsystems, Enhanced Reliability Ensuring product quality and regulatory compliance, including front-room representation in Audits. You're the right fit if: Master degree in engineering disciplines combined with 10+ years of relevant industry experience. 5+ years of experience in a leadership role with a strong emphasis on people management. Strong experience in either one of the following fields: Software, Mechatronics, Physics. Proven experience in systems architecture / systems engineering in the medical regulated industry. Affinity to medical device standards and regulatory requirements. Exceptional analytical skills with a proven ability to identify and interpret complex system interdependencies, and translate them into clear, actionable insights for diverse stakeholders to enable informed decision-making. Strong communication skills and experience in creating alignment between broad varieties of stakeholders (internal and external). Experience in adoption of Model Bases System Engineering and SysML modeling are a plus Experience in design for reliability and Six Sigma methodologies are a plus How we work together We believe that we are better together than apart.
