UPMC is hiring Director, Talent Acquisition Excellence for the Pittsburgh PA location. This position is Monday - Friday hybrid daylight shift. You will support the UPMC Talent Acquisition team under the Center of Excellence. Responsibility: Compliance, Audit & Quality Assurance • Ensure all TA programs and processes comply with internal policies and regulatory requirements. • Partner with HR Compliance, Legal, and Employee Health to monitor adherence to audit standards and mitigate risks. • Continuously evaluate policies and procedures to promote standardization and operational rigor. Operational Leadership • Oversee the execution and optimization of onboarding and talent relations. • Partner with divisional TA and HR leaders to ensure consistency, transparency, and standardization in processes, tools, and candidate experiences. • Monitor operational metrics to ensure delivery excellence and continuous improvement. Talent Acquisition Innovation & Experience • Champion a modern, technology-enabled recruitment model that supports enterprise scalability and adaptability. • Gather feedback and insights to continuously improve recruiter, hiring manager, and candidate satisfaction. • Partner with Communications and Marketing to ensure messaging consistency and alignment with UPMC's talent brand. Team Development & Collaboration • Lead and develop a team of professionals, fostering collaboration, accountability, and innovation. • Partner with divisional TA teams to share best practices and drive alignment across functions and regions. • Serve as a resource and mentor for TA leaders to build capability and support continuous learning and improvement. Technology, Systems, and Process Optimization • Serve as the business lead for TA technology systems, enhancements, and enterprise rollouts. • Collaborate with HRIS evaluate, implement, and optimize recruiting tools and platforms that enhance efficiency and engagement. • Drive automation and digital innovation across the recruitment lifecycle to improve recruiter and candidate experience. Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field required; Master's degree preferred. Seven (7) years of progressive Talent Acquisition or HR leadership experience, with a focus on process improvement, operations, or shared services and four years of prior progressive leadership experience required. Demonstrated experience leading large-scale TA programs and technology implementations within a complex organization. Strong analytical, project management, and change management skills. Proven ability to collaborate across functions and influence stakeholders at multiple levels. Excellent communication and leadership skills with a focus on innovation, service excellence, and measurable outcomes.
