We are seeking a strategic and dynamic Director of Talent Acquisition to lead talent acquisition across all functional areas of the organization, with an emphasis on experience recruiting for executive roles, with knowledge of the supply chain/logistics/and manufacturing industries highly valued given their strategic importance to our business. Position location: Deerfield, IL - Hybrid in office Tuesday - Thursday What you will be doing: Leadership & Team Management Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing US based recruiting team (~10), in line with our FBIN Blueprint and behaviors. Provide strategic direction and day-to-day guidance to ensure alignment with business goals and recruiting requirements. Talent Strategy & Execution Design and implement scalable recruiting strategies to attract top talent at all levels across all functional areas. Partner with senior leadership and HR business partners to forecast hiring needs and develop workforce plans Directly support searches for our executive talent. Bring expertise and insights into recruiting for supply chain, logistics, and manufacturing roles to strengthen our capabilities in these critical areas. Operational Excellence Monitor and optimize recruiting metrics (e.g., time-to-fill, quality of hire, candidate experience), leveraging data and analytics to inform decision-making and continuously improve processes. Ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations and internal policies. Stakeholder Engagement Build strong relationships with hiring leaders and cross-functional partners to understand talent needs and forecast recruiting requirements to support business growth and success. Serve as a trusted advisor on market trends, talent availability, and competitive intelligence, while championing employer branding to enhance visibility and attract top-tier candidates. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business, or related field; advanced degree preferred. 7+ years of progressive experience in Human Resources, with direct experience leading all aspects of a Talent Acquisition function, including demonstrated success in building inclusive and high-performing recruitment teams. 10+ years preferred. Direct experience leading executive level searches (VP+), with exposure to C-suite leaders, highly preferred. Strong understanding of recruiting technologies, applicant tracking systems, and sourcing tools, with a passion for innovation and continuous improvement in talent acquisition. Experience recruiting for specialized roles in supply chain, logistics, and manufacturing highly preferred. Additional Information Fortune Brands believes in fair and equitable pay. A reasonable estimate of the base salary range for this role is Hiring Pay Range: $140,000 USD - $220,000 USD. Please note that actual salaries may vary within the range, or be above or below the range, based on factors including, but not limited to, education, training, experience, professional achievement, business need, and location. In addition to base salary, employees will participate in either an annual bonus plan based on company and individual performance, or a role-based sales incentive plan.
