Key Responsibilities - Manage external tax advisors and oversee all aspects of group tax compliance, ensuring accurate and timely review and preparation of tax returns. - Research and implement tax strategies, providing recommendations based on operational needs and tax implications. - Collaborate with stakeholders to identify, evaluate, and communicate the tax impact of business operations. - Coordinate and prepare transfer pricing documentation to ensure full compliance with TP regulations. - Develop, maintain, and implement tax structures aligned with corporate tax strategy and local regulatory requirements. - Monitor changes in tax regulations and advise leadership on their impact and implications. - Review financial reports, monitor revenue and expenditure trends, and ensure accurate tax provisions while optimizing tax positions. - Conduct global tax research, including treaty interpretation and analysis of international tax rates. - Support short‑ and long‑term global tax planning strategies tied to the company’s 3–5‑year expansion goals. - Leverage a network of tax specialists and offices across regions to support group tax matters. - Handle ad‑hoc tax and finance assignments as required. Job Requirements - Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, ICAEW, or equivalent), ideally with a Big 4 background. - Minimum 5+ years of regional tax experience, ideally in real estate or data centres, and within multinational/cross‑functional environments. - Strong technical tax knowledge with the ability to resolve complex tax and accounting issues. - Excellent analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills; able to work effectively with senior stakeholders.
