PRODUCT DESIGNER

===============

  • Product Design and development:
  • Detail the product requirements in terms of capabilities & maturity across APAC market
  • Define the right Customer Journeys for that Product, define front to back Process design
  • Define the right Test scenarios, Customer Migration aspects of the Product
  • Work closely with Business Architecture team to ensure design is standardized across all APAC markets
  • Work closely with IT delivery teams on a day to day basis to oversee and ensure the right outcomes
  • Backlog Management:
  • Groom, prioritize, and maintain multiple backlog’s (Product, Defect, BAU)
  • Write clear and actionable User stories , Review , Approve user stories and acceptance criteria.
  • Ensure the backlog is visible, transparent, and understood by all team members.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration:
  • Act as the liaison between stakeholders and the development team.
  • Gather and analyze feedback from customers, users, and stakeholders to refine the product.
  • Sprint Planning and Execution:
  • Lead / Participate in sprint ceremonies , planning meetings to define goals and priorities.
  • Ensure the development team understands the requirements and priorities.
  • Review and accept completed work during sprint reviews.
  • Change Management & Decision Making:
  • Make decisions regarding product features, scope, and priorities.
  • Balance technical constraints, business needs, and user requirements.
  • Manage Change Requests via a well defined Change mgmt framework
  • Market and User Research:
  • Conduct market research and analyze user behavior to identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Monitor industry trends and competitor products.
  • Performance Monitoring:
  • Track product performance metrics and ensure the product meets quality standards.
  • Identify areas for improvement and drive continuous enhancement.

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:

  • At least 10-13 years of relevant experience
  • Deep understanding of the Business Domain (Cash mgmt, Trade Finance, Lending , Treasury)
  • Good grasp of Technologies to understand & appreciate the Solution fitment to Business req, able to question / challenge Solution estimates wrt Compexity of the task.
  • Strong understanding of Agile methodologies, particularly Scrum.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage competing demands.
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience with product management tools (e.g., Jira, Trello, or Azure DevOps).
  • Knowledge of the industry or domain relevant to the product.
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, computer science, or a related field (preferred).
