ABOUT THE ROLE Centerbase is seeking a Director Technical Services to lead our Data Migration and Professional Services teams - the groups responsible for all customer data work across onboarding and the full customer lifecycle, from initial migrations through ongoing data projects, customization, and remediation. This role owns the safe movement, transformation, and customization of customer data across onboarding and long-term customer evolution. That includes data migrations, SQL-based reporting, custom billing templates, workflows, and remediation of legacy data issues, all within a mature, evolving platform that is actively modernizing its database and infrastructure. This is a hands-on, director-level role for someone who thrives in ambiguity, has deep experience leading data migration and technical services teams, and is motivated by turning complex, imperfect systems into scalable, repeatable operations. RESPONSIBILITIES * Own and oversee all customer data work during onboarding and throughout the customer lifecycle, ensuring projects are scoped accurately, executed with strong data integrity and auditability, and delivered on time and within budget, with minimal post–go-live rework. * Lead the Professional Services team responsible for custom reporting, billing templates, and workflows, ensuring deliverables are technically sound, accurate, and consistently delivered within agreed timelines and scope. * Develop a deep understanding of Centerbase’s database, schema, ETL tools, and infrastructure, and design processes and standards that improve delivery efficiency, validation rigor, and risk management. * Define clear service level expectations (SLAs) and measurable performance standards, and drive accountability to consistently meet or exceed them. * Partner closely with Customer Success, Project Management, and Sales to accurately scope customer requirements and set clear expectations. * Lead the evolution of migration and enablement tooling, including current-state assessment, roadmap development with Product and Engineering, and implementation of automation and reliability improvements to increase repeatability and delivery confidence. * Identify and pilot responsible applications of AI to improve onboarding efficiency, data mapping, validation workflows, and overall customer experience. * Build, coach, and develop the technical organization across onshore, near-shore, and offshore teams, including formalizing team lead and quality control structures. * Improve partner effectiveness through clear performance expectations, structured oversight, and ongoing feedback loops.
