As Director of Technology and Enterprise Data, you’ll shape the future of Rodan’s digital platforms—driving the architecture, scalability, and performance of systems that power real-time energy intelligence and operational excellence.
You won’t be writing code day-to-day, but your engineering judgment will be critical. You’ll work across modern Microsoft and Linux-based stacks, influence product direction, and ensure that engineering practices are robust, secure, and future-ready.
This role is ideal for a hands-on technical leader who thrives in a collaborative, mission-driven environment. You’ll have the autonomy to shape engineering culture, the support of a strong executive team, and the satisfaction of building systems that directly contribute to sustainability and grid modernization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and oversee both software development and enterprise data services functions, ensuring alignment with business goals and delivery timelines.
  • Provide technical oversight across backend development, DevOps, and data operations—ensuring scalable, secure, and high-performing systems.
  • Provide oversight of electricity data acquisition hardware and ETL processes to ensure accurate, timely aggregation and submission of data to internal and external users.
  • Guide solution architecture and technology direction, staying current with modern engineering practices and tools.
  • Manage and mentor a team of developers and data professionals, including team leads and managers, fostering growth and accountability.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to define product roadmaps, estimate delivery effort, and support investment planning.
  • Ensure Agile practices are followed and delivery pipelines are optimized for speed, quality, and reliability.
  • Serve as a key member of the management team and provide input on overall business direction, foster a positive work culture, and strong collaboration with other functional leaders.
