WHAT YOU’LL DO:

  • Define and lead the engineering strategy across all Campus Kaizen products, including modernization efforts like multi-tenancy and microservices readiness.
  • Oversee a migration from Linode to AWS, implementing infrastructure-as-code, CI/CD pipelines, robust observability practices, and a disaster recovery plan with defined RTO/RPO.
  • Manage a globally distributed offshore development team, driving agile practices (Scrum/Scrumban), sprint-based velocity tracking, and quality standards such as automated testing and formal code reviews.
  • Collaborate with the President on product roadmaps, evaluate technical feasibility, and improve SDLC metrics such as deployment frequency, test coverage, and release success rates.

    What You Bring:

  • 8+ years of software engineering experience, including at least 3 years in technical leadership roles.

  • Proven experience managing outsourced or hybrid engineering teams across multiple time zones.
  • Strong technical skills in PHP, Vue.js, Node.js, AWS infrastructure, and Docker/Kubernetes.
