    This is a unique Band 1 Senior Executive opportunity to shape and lead the alignment of technology architecture and systems across the Department of Planning Housing and Infrastructure.
    As the Director Technology Engagement, you’ll lead the charge in ensuring digital solutions truly work for the people who use them. You’ll collaborate with stakeholders across the department to understand their challenges and help co-design technology services that improve how work gets done, driving better business outcomes through smarter systems and support.
    The tricky part is balancing technical capability with real-world usability—managing competing priorities, engaging diverse users, and navigating constant change. You’ll need to be a clear communicator, a strategic thinker, and someone who can turn complexity into simplicity while fostering trust, innovation, and adoption across the board.

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Tertiary qualifications in computer science, information management, business administration, a related discipline and/or relevant equivalent experience
  • Expertise across and within a business partnering/business engagement capacity and knowledge across architecture layers and realms such as technology/infrastructure, applications, information, and business process.
