Responsibilities

Strategic Technology Alignment

  • Cultivate strong relationships with digital solutions, enterprise analytics, and core business unit stakeholders to ensure alignment between technology operations initiatives and evolving capabilities alongside organisational strategic objectives & priorities
  • Drive technology research, trend analysis, and competitive benchmarking to inform strategic planning and operational improvements
  • Evolve innovative enterprise-wide strategies, vendor partnerships, and governance frameworks to advance our technology operations capabilities and performance
  • Lead the evaluation and integration of emerging technologies—including agentic AI, AIOps, and autonomous systems—into operational workflows, ensuring alignment with organizational values, risk frameworks, and strategic goals
  • Lead technology demand and financial management processes to prioritise investments, optimize resource allocation, and ensure value delivery
  • Oversee scenario modelling and architectural planning to assess future-state technology capabilities and inform decision-making
  • Oversee knowledge management practices to ensure confidentiality and compliance practices that support technology operations in line with WoodGreen’s community principles

Service Delivery

  • Lead the delivery of resilient and user-centric technology services, ensuring efficient incident resolution, service request fulfillment, and continuous service improvement
  • Oversee report monitoring and trend analysis to drive accountability towards performance standards and service level agreements (SLAs)
  • Direct technology asset lifecycle management, including procurement, tracking, and optimization of resources
  • Manage centralized technology ordering and request fulfillment processes to ensure strong vendor relationships, as well as timely and accurate delivery of standard offerings
  • Operate and evolve the technology service desk as a single point of contact for users, ensuring responsive support, effective communication, and issue resolution
  • Resolve escalations and lead cross-functional collaboration to ensure seamless service delivery and stakeholder satisfaction

Infrastructure

  • Oversee the design, governance, administration, and continuous improvement of secure, scalable, and high-performing infrastructure, including enterprise applications management, network environments, and other systems
  • Lead governance processes to ensure alignment between enterprise architecture and strategy
  • Guide the development and maintenance of architectural documentation, including current and future state models, infrastructure standards, and operating procedures
  • Direct the installation, implementation, administration and optimization of enterprise-wide systems, data repositories, networks, and servers; ensuring services with a high degree of availability, performance, and compliance with architectural standards
  • Collaborate with cybersecurity, privacy, and compliance teams to ensure infrastructure meets organizational and regulatory standards for security, reliability, and scalability
  • Establish intelligent monitoring operations of infrastructure performance
  • Lead business continuity and disaster recovery planning readiness to ensure operational resilience across all business and technology domains for critical services

What You Bring to the Team

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
  • 10+ years of progressive experience in IT operations, with at least 5 years in management or leadership roles.
  • Strong understanding of network infrastructure and architecture, with a preference for experience with Cisco networks.
  • Designing and managing technology infrastructure, particularly in a cloud or hybrid environment.
  • Leading information technology service management functions.
  • Strategy design, management, and leadership stakeholder engagement.

What Will Set You Apart

  • Experience working in the healthcare, housing, education, childcare, or financial services sectors are assets.
  • Experience working in a matrixed reporting structure is an asset.
  • Management within the Microsoft technology ecosystem and Azure environments preferred.
  • Experience with AI governance, ethical deployment of autonomous systems, and operationalising agentic AI in enterprise environments is a strong asset.
  • Demonstrated orientation towards adapting business processes and task workflows with generative AI solutions, including agentic AI, are assets.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent collaboration, communication, and presentation skills for influence and direction with the ability to translate technical concepts for non-technical audiences.
  • Proven record of driving business value through technology.
