Responsibilities:

JOB SUMMARY

The Director, Total Rewards & HRIS plays a critical role in managing and executing compensation, benefits, HR information systems, and payroll programs. This role ensures that American Addiction Centers’ total rewards programs remain competitive, compliant, and aligned with business needs while enhancing employee engagement.
As a member of the HR leadership team, this position will work closely with the Chief Human Resources Officer, and other key stakeholders to implement and refine total rewards strategies, oversee payroll operations, and drive HR technology improvements. The Director will provide direct supervision to Benefit, HRIS, Payroll, and HealthStream.

CONTINUOUS IMPROVEMENT & INDUSTRY KNOWLEDGE

  • Stay up to date on industry trends, best practices, and compliance requirements related to compensation, benefits, payroll, and HR technology.
  • Provide recommendations for enhancing policies, processes, and tools to improve operational excellence and employee satisfaction.
    Qualifications:

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in a related field required.
  • 8+ years progressive HRIS/payroll/total rewards experience; 3+ years in a leadership role.
  • Expert-level proficiency in UKG Pro (UltiPro) — payroll, reporting, security, feeds, open enrollment.
  • Demonstrated experience managing self-funded health plan administration.
  • Deep knowledge of payroll laws, benefits compliance, and HR data governance.
  • Bachelor’s degree required; CCP, CBP, or SHRM-SCP a plus.
