We’re a leading training partner for the federal Weatherization Assistance Program (WAP), serving state agencies across the country. The role We’re hiring a Director of Weatherization Programs to own Everblue’s entire WAP portfolio. You’ll report to the Senior Director of Workforce Development and lead the managers responsible for delivering our state WAP contracts. The job is to deliver excellent training to our state agency customers while protecting and growing the contracts that fund the work. What you’ll own Leading the WAP team. Coach and hold accountable a team of managers covering contracts in multiple states. Build the operating rhythm that keeps the work moving. Owning customer relationships. Get on a text-message basis with our state agency contacts. Know every contract inside and out, from both our side and theirs. Delivering the work. Make sure every WAP contract delivers what was promised, on time, with happy customers at the end. Driving profitability. Manage contract deliverables so customers are delighted and the economics work. Spot risks early. Find the clever path. Growing the footprint. Try new approaches. Help us land new state contracts and grow where the work is good. What we’re looking for 5 to 10 years leading teams that deliver complex programs, contracts, or training. WAP, energy efficiency, or government-funded workforce experience is a strong plus. Experience hiring, developing, and (when needed) parting ways with team members. Customer instinct. You build trust with senior client stakeholders quickly and keep it. Adaptability. You embrace experiments and you’re comfortable when the business changes. Commercial cleverness. You know how to delight customers and protect the P&L at the same time. A bias to deliver on the intent behind every task, not just the letter of it.
