This leadership role is responsible for defining the overall quality vision, strategy, and execution across products and platforms, with a strong focus on storage systems, flash technologies, and large-scale infrastructure. The ideal candidate will balance strategic thinking with hands-on leadership, ensuring that quality is embedded across the entire engineering lifecycle while enabling teams to deliver reliable, high-performance solutions at scale. Key Responsibilities Define and own the end-to-end Quality Assurance strategy aligned with business goals, product roadmaps, and engineering priorities. Build, lead, and mentor high-performing QA and quality engineering teams across manual, automation, performance, and data quality disciplines. Establish robust QA processes, standards, and best practices across software, firmware, storage, and infrastructure layers. Drive quality excellence across flash and storage systems, ensuring reliability, scalability, performance, and data integrity. Partner closely with engineering, product management, architecture, and infrastructure teams to embed quality early in the development lifecycle. Oversee test strategy for complex distributed systems, including functional, integration, system, regression, performance, and stress testing. Lead initiatives around test automation, CI/CD integration, and modern quality engineering practices to improve speed and coverage. Ensure strong data quality assurance practices, including validation of data pipelines, analytics systems, and reporting accuracy. Monitor and improve quality metrics, defect trends, release readiness, and customer-impacting issues. Drive root cause analysis for critical defects and production issues, ensuring preventive actions are implemented. Champion a culture of quality, accountability, and continuous improvement across engineering and operations. Collaborate with infrastructure and operations teams to ensure production readiness, reliability, and compliance with quality standards. What Makes You a Great Fit Extensive experience in Quality Assurance leadership roles, with a strong background in engineering-driven QA organizations. Deep understanding of storage systems, flash technologies, and infrastructure-level testing challenges. Proven ability to scale QA teams, processes, and automation frameworks in complex, high-availability environments. Strong expertise in modern QA practices, including test automation, CI/CD integration, and quality metrics-driven decision-making. Experience with data quality assurance, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and reliability across systems and platforms.
