We have a rich tradition of giving back and ensuring our employees have the opportunity to serve their communities. We champion an inclusive culture and strive to attract and develop a talented workforce to create and deliver a wide range of content reflecting our world. Comcast NBCUniversal has announced its intent to create a new publicly traded company ('Versant') comprised of most of NBCUniversal's cable television networks, including USA Network, CNBC, MSNBC, Oxygen, E!, SYFY and Golf Channel along with complementary digital assets Fandango, Rotten Tomatoes, GolfNow, GolfPass, and SportsEngine. The well-capitalized company will have significant scale as a pure-play set of assets anchored by leading news, sports and entertainment content. The spin-off is expected to be completed during 2025. Job Description We're looking for a Director of Workplace Product & Operations to transform how our employees experience every part of working at Versant. You will lead a team of Product Managers and Product Analysts to define every aspect of our employees’ experience globally—from finding a desk to ordering food to getting IT support. In this role, you’ll report to the Vice President of Workplace Operations & Engineering, collaborating closely with leaders in engineering, design, facilities, internal marketing, and other cross-functional teams. You will drive the strategy and execution of scalable solutions that deliver best-in-class experiences for our colleagues and our company. If you are a builder who thrives on solving complex problems and making a tangible, global impact—and you’re passionate about entertainment and digital innovation—this is the role for you. Qualifications Basic Requirements: 5+ years of proven experience in a leadership role, specifically within workplace operations, product development, and building workplace tools. Demonstrated experience defining and implementing product development processes. Proven ability to set and communicate a clear vision for a team and a product portfolio. Experience in managing and mentoring a team of product managers and analysts. Track record of successfully managing vendor relationships and budgets. Desired Characteristics: Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to navigate complexity and change. Influential leader who builds consensus and alignment in a matrixed organization. Balances collaboration and decisiveness, listening effectively while driving outcomes. Strategic thinker with an execution mindset, able to manage multiple priorities and pivot quickly. Exceptional communication skills, able to connect with both technical and business audiences. Builds meaningful, trust-based relationships with curiosity, humility, and openness to feedback. Experienced in Workplace technology implementations, including business analysis, change management, and system configuration. Comfortable working in a global, cross-functional environment. Additional Requirements Hybrid: This position has been designated as hybrid, generally contributing from the office a minimum of three days per week out of one of our hubs: Englewood Cliffs, NJ, New York, NY, and Universal City, LA. This position is eligible for company sponsored benefits, including medical, dental and vision insurance, 401(k), paid leave, tuition reimbursement, and a variety of other discounts and perks.
