Description Assist in ensuring that all aspects of the quality system controlled by Disa Production are maintained. Assist in ensuring that proper manning levels of trained and cross-trained and training is maintained. Use Continuous Improvement Process to make the plant safer and increase profitability. Assist in ensuring that all following cards and process are revised as necessary to reflect the process and that all processes stated are followed. Control scrap through prevention, investigation and correction of processes as required. Assist with initiating and follow-up corrective action requests (CAR’s) for castings & process as needed. Assist in ensuring the proper sampling techniques are followed for new and existing jobs. Follow procedures for PPAP and CAT 700 Sample Submissions in such a way as to minimize the impact on production by doing it right the first time. In conjunction with Safety and Engineering, identify hazards. Assist with follow-up on all Disa Production operations, initial investigation of accidents, change processes and retrain Team Members. Assist in ensuring all Team Members are given verbal warnings for tornado or evacuation. Assist in ensuring iron meets quality standards. And, any additional duties that may be assigned by Management. Requirements Skills, Knowledge and Abilities Excellent communication skills both written and verbal. Excellent computer skills. Excellent problem solving skills. Ability to work on a team and cooperate with others; positive attitude. Ability to work without supervision; self-motivation and self-direction. Ability to learn the functionality of equipment. Ability to make decisions, results driven and strong follow through skills.
Responsibilities
Assist in maintaining the quality system and ensuring proper training and manning levels in Disa Production. Control scrap and assist with corrective actions while ensuring safety and quality standards are met.
