Are you passionate about making a real difference in the lives of people with disabilities? We are seeking a dedicated Disabilities Services Officer to join our team and support individuals in accessing high-quality care and services tailored to their needs.

As a Disabilities Services Officer, you will:

  • Work closely with individuals, families, and support networks to develop and implement care plans.
  • Assist in coordinating support services, ensuring participants receive the best possible care. Advocate for clients, ensuring their rights and needs are met.
  • Provide guidance on NDIS processes and service navigation.
  • Maintain accurate records and reports to support ongoing service improvements.
  • referring clients to agencies that can provide additional help
  • assessing community need and resources for health, welfare, housing, employment, training and other facilities and services
  • liaising with community groups, welfare agencies, government bodies and private businesses about community issues and promoting awareness of community resources and services
  • supporting families and providing education and care for children and disabled persons in adult service units, group housing and government institution

Skill Level:

  • AQF Associate Degree, Advanced Diploma or Diploma orAt least three years of relevant experience may substitute for the formal qualifications listed above. In some instances relevant experience and/or on-the-job training may be required in addition to the formal qualification
