ACCORD CARE is trusted in the provision of person-centred disability support services to NDIS participants. We provide Supported Independent Living, In-home care, Community Participation, Short-Term Accommodation, Community Nursing, and Allied Health Services. About the role We are looking for Female team members in our supported independent living arrangements in Nudgee to provide 24/7 support in the home and out in the community. The support worker's role and responsibilities will include: Supporting people with personal care and day-to-day activities in the home and out in the community Providing positive behaviour support to our clients Completing appropriate documentation through shift notes, incident reporting and data collection Contribute to the team’s overall objective of providing the best outcomes for our clients Work with your team leader to implement and review plans around daily service provision Maintain a professional relationship with clients and adhere to the NDIS and company code of conduct Above all, be responsive, reliable and accountable to our clients and your team What we offer: Part-time/Casual positions Competitive Pay Rates up to $44.39/hour 11% super 5 weeks Annual Leave Onsite Training Opportunities for Career Progression Qualification/Experience: Minimum Certificate III in Individual Support/Aged Care or Higher (or the ability to acquire an appropriate qualification) Mental Health Experience Problem-Solving Skills Experience with Dementia Challenging Behavior Experience Verbal/Written Communication and Relationship Building Skills If you think this sounds like you, please apply!
