PART TIME AND CASUAL | $30 TO $35 PER HOUR | 4 TO 8 HOUR SHIFTS | DAY AND OVERNIGHT

At Affective Care, we are looking for motivated and dependable Support Workers to join our team in a Supported Independent Living (SIL) home. You will work with several residents who have a range of disabilities, providing practical support that helps them live more independently and confidently.

ABOUT THE ROLE

This is a hands-on role where no two days are the same. You will be part of a supportive team, helping residents with their daily routines, personal care and life goals. Some days you might be cooking and sharing a meal, other days you could be heading out to the shops, appointments or social activities.

KEY DUTIES

• Assist with daily living tasks such as cooking, cleaning and household organisation
• Provide personal care including showering, grooming and hygiene support
• Assist with medication according to care plans
• Support residents in accessing the community for shopping, appointments and recreational activities
• Encourage independence through skill building and practical guidance
• Maintain accurate progress notes and report changes in needs or behaviour
