Aussie Life Care (ALC) is a passionate Registered NDIS provider dedicated to empowering individuals with disabilities to lead independent lives and achieve their personal goals. We’re currently seeking enthusiastic and compassionate Disability Support Workers to join our team in Ballarat.

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:

To be successful in this role, you must meet the following requirements:

  • Excellent English communication skills
  • A Certificate III in Individual Support (preferred)
  • Current Police Check, Working with Children Check, NDIS Worker Screening Check
  • Current Victorian Driver’s License and own a car with Registration and Insurance
  • Current First Aid and CPR training
  • Completion of the NDIS Orientation Module
  • Strong communication skills and a commitment to exceptional support
Responsibilities

ABOUT THE ROLE

We are seeking individuals to join our team as Disability Support Workers. In this flexible role, you will be provided the opportunity to work when required.
As a Disability Support Worker with ALC, you’ll play an integral role in supporting our participants to live independent and fulfilling lives. You’ll assist individuals with a variety of services and provide meaningful participation opportunities, promoting social inclusion, goal achievement, and the development of essential life skills. Your day-to-day tasks may include:

In home support and community access:

  • Providing domestic and personal care
  • Transportation assistance to help participants engage in the community
  • Medication management and assistance with daily routines
  • Helping participants build on their strengths and reach their personal goals
  • Promoting community participation and involvement in group centre activities

To be successful in this role, you must meet the following requirements:
