COMPLIANCE REQUIREMENTS

  • Australian citizen or has Right to Work in Australia (must)
  • Minimum Certificate III in Individual Support, Disability, Personal Care or above (must)
  • NDIS Worker Screening Check (must)
  • First Aid Certificate HLTAID011 or HLTAID012 (must)
  • CPR Certificate HLTAID009 (must)
  • Minimum 1 year experience as a Support Worker
  • NDIS Orientation Certificate
  • COVID-19 Infection Prevention and Control
  • Manual Handling Certificate
  • Medication Certificate
  • Covid-19 vaccinations
Responsibilities

The Support Worker at BDSS is responsible for the provision of person/family-centred support services that empower people with disability to achieve their potential and live the life they choose.
The Support Worker works under limited supervision with readily available assistance. Employees need to demonstrate person-centred and positive approach to supporting and empowering customers.
