Job description:

We’re Hiring – Disability Support Worker

You will be supporting a participant to achieve their goals and maintain independence.

Requires assistance with community participation and domestic assistance.

Participant is 11 years old boy who needs help with daily living tasks. Further details will be provided.

Support Hours:

• Monday-Sunday 7 hours each day
• Driver license is ESSENTIAL
• Location:- Edenhope VIC 3318 (Travel can be reimbursed as remote location)

✔ Minimum 2 years of experience supporting clients with complex health needs

✔ Able to work under pressure and manage complex behaviours

✔ Critical thinker with a positive attitude

✔ Excellent verbal and written communication skills

✔ Knowledgeable in writing progress notes, documentation, and incident reporting

✔ Empathetic, calm, and emotionally mature

✔ Confidence in working independently and as part of a team

✔ Strong communication and professional approach

✔ Reliability

Mandatory Requirements:

• NDIS Worker Screening Check (Mandatory)
• Working with Children Check (Mandatory)
• NDIS Worker Orientation Module
• Relevant qualifications and certifications
• Current First Aid and CPR
• CV with 2 references
• Valid ABN
• Comprehensive Car Insurance
• Valid driver's licence and reliable vehicle

Pay: $35.00 – $45.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 36.0 per week
