CASUAL SUPPORT WORKER – TOWNSVILLE (QLD)

We are currently seeking a casual support worker to join our team in Townsville, QLD, providing high-quality care to a male client in his 40s who is wheelchair-bound due to a workplace accident.
This role requires a skilled and empathetic individual who is comfortable with digital stimulation therapy as part of the client’s daily routine, along with providing personal care and light domestic support.

The client is friendly, highly communicative, and has a great sense of humour. We are looking for someone who can match his energy, build rapport, and contribute to his overall wellbeing.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Current First Aid and CPR Certificate
• Blue Card (Working with Children)
• Yellow Card / NDIS Worker Screening
• Cert III in Individual Support (or relevant experience) desirable
• Current driver’s licence and reliable vehicle (mandatory)

• Performing daily digital stimulation therapy (bowel care)
• Assistance with personal care tasks, including showering
• Light household duties (basic cleaning, meal prep, etc.)
• Transport and assistance with appointments and activities as required
• Creating a positive and engaging environment through conversation and support
