Due to our current growth, we are now seeking to hire experienced, qualified staff to work with our dynamic, highly experienced teams.
We are currently seeking a committed and experienced disability support worker for our existing and prospective clients in Redcliffe, QLD.
As a support worker, your key responsibility involves delivering one-on-one assistance to our NDIS participants within their residence. The participant seeks support in various aspects, including attending the day program, managing personal care, preparing meals, tending to household responsibilities, and actively engaging in community interactions. If you embody kindness, passion, patience, and empathy, coupled with a proactive, can-do attitude, this role is undoubtedly tailored for you.
Specifically, the primary focus of this role is to aid our NDIS Participant in Redcliff in their school preparations, fostering their independence, and facilitating their journey to school in Deception Bay. Your involvement in this capacity will play a pivotal role in their growth and development.

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:

• Minimum of 6 months experience in supporting people with Disabilities
• Employment Working with Children’s Check, or in process of obtaining one
• Working is SIL & STA environment is seen as advantageous
• Own Car and drivers’ licence is a MUST.
• Must hold or willing to attain an NDIS Worker Screening Check
• Two – three relevant, professional and industry related reference checks
• Have a valid, or in process of obtaining a First Aid (HLTAID003) and CPR (HLTAID001) certificate.
• Must be COVID-19 fully vaccinated
• Must be willing to travel from Redcliffe to Deception Bay, QLD.
• Must have Blue Card (Working with Children)
• Must have Infection Control, Worker Orientation Module and First Aid/CPR Certificate
• Morning shift, 10+ hours per week; more hours in he future
• Preferably MALE support worker, but females are welcome to apply.

  Pay: $30.00 – $55.00 per hour
