Due to our current growth, we are now seeking to hire experienced, qualified staff to work with our dynamic, highly experienced teams.
The role we are currently seeking committed and experienced Disability Support Workers for our existing and prospective client in the Raceview, QLD.
As a support worker, your primary role is to provide 1:1 support to our NDIS participant at his house . Participant is require assistance to get for day program , personal care, meal preparation, household duties and community participation. If you are a kind, passionate person with patience and empathetic nature with a can-do attitude; this is certainly the right role for you.

Skills & Experience:

  • Certificate 3 in either Mental Health or Disability Support Services/ Age care
  • Minimum of 6 months experience in supporting people with disabilities
  • Employment Working with Children’s Check, or in process of obtaining one
  • Working is SIL & STA environment is seen as advantageous
  • Car and drivers’ licence
  • Must hold or willing to attain an NDIS Worker Screening Check
  • Two – three relevant, professional and industry related reference checks
  • Have a valid, or in process of obtaining a First Aid (HLTAID003) and CPR (HLTAID001) certificate.
  • Must be COVID-19 fully vaccinated
  • Must be willing to Travel to Raceview area, QLD.
  • Must have Blue Card (Working with Children)
  • Must have Infection Control, Worker Orientation Module and First Aid/CPR Certificate
  • Preferred shift time is 6am to 6pm
  • ENGLISH Is the first language.
  • Australian citizen.
  • The participant requires high levels of care and is primarily bedridden, necessitating assistance from two individuals most of the time. Personally, a preference for hoist experience is preferred.
  • The preference extends to females with both hoist and manual handling experience, for shifts ranging from 8 to 10 hours, or 8 to 12 hours.
