WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

  • A genuine passion for supporting individuals with disabilities and a commitment to person-centred care.
  • At least 6 months’ experience in a similar role or relevant qualifications (e.g. Certificate III in Individual Support).
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build meaningful connections with clients.
  • A patient, empathetic, and adaptable approach to supporting diverse needs.
  • A current driver’s licence and access to a reliable vehicle (desirable).
  • A valid Working with Children Check and National Police Check.

Boldli is looking for a motivated Disability Support Worker to join our passionate team in Townsville, Queensland. This casual role is focused on providing high-quality, person-centred support to individuals in the community. As a valued member of our team, you’ll play a key role in empowering people with disabilities to live independently and achieve their goals.

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING

  • Assisting clients with personal care, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
  • Supporting clients with household tasks such as cooking, cleaning, and running errands.
  • Engaging clients in recreational and social activities to promote their well-being.
  • Documenting client progress and sharing feedback with the support team.
  • Advocating for client needs and ensuring their rights are upheld.
  • Following all relevant policies, procedures, and safety protocols.
