Heart of Grace Support Services is a growing, client‑focused organisation committed to delivering compassionate, person‑centred care. We are expanding our team and looking for caring, reliable, and values‑driven individuals who want to make a genuine difference in people’s lives.

Male support workers are strongly encouraged to apply, and no experience is required — just the right attitude, willingness to learn, and a heart for helping others.

About the Role

As a Casual Disability Support Worker, you will support clients with a range of daily living and community activities, including:

  • Personal care (showering, toileting, grooming)
  • Hoisting and manual handling
  • Meal preparation and household cleaning
  • Social support and companionship
  • Community access (appointments, outings, activities)
  • High‑care support for clients with complex needs

Full in‑person training is provided, including hands‑on practice with equipment and client‑specific care plans.

What We Offer

  • Paid travel time between clients
  • Kilometre reimbursement
  • In‑person, practical training
  • Supportive team environment
  • Opportunities to grow with a rapidly expanding organisation
  • A workplace that genuinely puts clients’ needs first

Who We’re Looking For

We want people who:

  • Are caring, patient, and compassionate
  • Want to do the job for the right reasons
  • Are reliable and committed
  • Can follow instructions and client care plans
  • Are willing to learn high‑care tasks
  • Respect professional boundaries
  • Communicate clearly and respectfully

Experience is highly regarded, but not essential — your attitude matters more.

Mandatory Requirements

Applicants must have or be willing to obtain:

  • Blue Card
  • Yellow Card / NDIS Worker Screening
  • First Aid & CPR certification
  • Personal vehicle with fully comprehensive car insurance
  • Current driver’s licence
  • Ability to perform physical tasks (hoisting, transfers, cleaning)

These requirements ensure safety, professionalism, and compliance with NDIS standards.
