Nurindah Disability Services (NDS) is a small, family-owned company based in Pakenham, a south-eastern suburb of Melbourne. We are currently seeking experienced and mature male Disability Support Workers to join our team. This role requires individuals who can provide firm guidance (Authority) while maintaining a compassionate and supportive approach.
Successful candidates will be passionate about working with children and have prior experience in the disability sector. In this role, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality support, engaging clients in meaningful activities, and providing care across various settings, including in-home and community environments.
You will be working closely with our clients and their families to provide personal care and facilitate leisure activities, ensuring that each individual’s physical, emotional, and social needs are met and achieve their goals.
To be considered for this role, you must have a minimum of 12 months of experience in the field, experience working with clients with challenging behaviors (Behavioral of Concerns), and a Certificate III or IV in Disability or Aged Care.
Additional required qualifications : NDIS screening check (mandatory), manual handling certificate, and Working with Children check. You must also hold a First Aid and CPR Certificate and have completed the NDIS Orientation Module and infection control certificate. A valid Victorian driver’s license and a reliable, insured vehicle are also required.
