ABOUT THE ROLE:

We are seeking Support Workers who are motivated and enthusiastic team players who have ‘can do’ attitudes for casual positions within our Active Living Options team. Our day programs held at our two sites in Ballarat, provide exciting group programs, that support customers aged 6 to 65.
Our Disability Support Workers help people with a disability achieve their personal goals and aspirations. Assisting customers to actively participate within their local communities, you will directly support the wellbeing of customers through understanding their needs, preferences and interests.
Based at our day program sites our team provide a range of support services including personal care, health, exercise and community experiences that enable customers to live a quality life with dignity, respect and social inclusion.
Our day programs range from independent living skills such as cooking, numeracy and literacy, music, art and our popular wood working program to supporting those with higher support needs to enjoy more wellbeing-based activities including sensory, physiotherapy and hydrotherapy programs as we have a wonderful pool our customers use, as well as supporting individual manual handling and personal care needs.
If you’re passionate about making a positive impact and supporting individuals to live their best lives, we’d love for you to join us in supporting our valued customers.
