Tuley is a family-owned and operated disability support organisation that provides a range of person-centred and trauma-informed supports to people with disabilities and their families.
Tuley is seeking Experienced Disability Support Workers to join our fantastic team in Banksia Grove. This position will be for an immediate start and shifts are varied throughout the week.
You role will be to assist a friendly but isolated woman in her 40’s to live independently and achieve meaningful connections within her local community.
If you are committed to helping people with disabilities live a good life, then this is an awesome opportunity for you to join our team and work within a trauma informed and person-centred framework.
Whilst relevant qualifications are desirable, they are not essential as we hire people with the right values and attributes and training is provided.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Ability and willingness to be flexible and work shifts, including sleepovers, weekends and public and/or school holidays with significant availability
  • Resilience, self-confidence and willingness to engage participants with various backgrounds and needs
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to develop positive relationships with participants to actively support individual needs
  • A good level of fitness
  • Current Driver’s License and road worthy vehicle
  • NDIS Worker Screening Check
  • Police Check
  • Experienced in manual handling, behavioural management and/or mental health is an advantage.
  • Proof of Covid vaccinations
