SCHADS Award – Home Care Employee (Disability Care), Level 2–3
About the Role
Lifestyle Max is a nurse-led NDIS provider seeking a friendly, reliable and enthusiastic support worker to join an established team supporting a young adult male participant with complex physical and healthcare needs.
The participant enjoys getting out into the community, going for walks and spending time outdoors. He is particularly interested in fishing, so we would love to hear from someone who genuinely enjoys fishing and would be enthusiastic about helping organise and support regular fishing outings.
Alongside community activities, the role involves supporting the participant with personal care, daily routines and high intensity supports. Clear care plans, clinical guidance and full participant-specific training will be provided.
This role would suit a nursing student wanting valuable hands-on experience while studying, an experienced disability support worker looking for consistent work, or someone with the right attitude who is genuinely willing to learn.
Previous experience with complex disability or healthcare needs would be beneficial; however, training can be provided to a suitable candidate who is reliable, enthusiastic and committed to becoming part of a regular team.
