MANDATORY REQUIREMENTS

  • Certificate IV in Disability, Individual Support, Community Services, or equivalent in Health/Human Services.
  • Mental Health First Aid Certification.
  • HLTAID011 First Aid and HLTAID009 CPR.
  • NDIS Worker Screening Check.
  • Working with Children Check – Employer version.
  • Current National Police Clearance.
  • Infection Control and Manual Handling Training.
  • Valid Australian Driver’s Licence and comprehensively insured vehicle.
  • Triple COVID-19 vaccination (including booster).

Responsibilities

ABOUT THE ROLE

We are seeking a highly experienced, self-driven, and respectful Disability Support Worker to support a participant in Greenvale VIC with complex physical, neurological, and psychosocial needs.

This is not an entry-level role. It requires a professional who can:

  • Deliver high-intensity personal care with skill and attention to detail.
  • Manage challenging behaviours calmly using trauma-informed approaches.
  • Liaise confidently with doctors, hospitals, and allied health teams.
  • Support meaningful community access in a bright, vibrant, and proactive way.
  • Maintain clear, detailed documentation that meets NDIS compliance standards.
