About the Role
We are currently seeking experienced Disability Support Workers to join our growing Gold Coast team.
This position is suited to reliable, compassionate and experienced support workers who are confident providing personal care, community access and disability support across a variety of shifts.
Key Responsibilities
· Provide personal care and assistance with activities of daily living
· Support community access, appointments and social activities
· Assist with mobility, transfers and manual handling where required
· Support participants with mealtime routines
· Provide medication assistance within scope and competency
· Support household and daily living activities
· Monitor and report changes in participant health, wellbeing or support needs
· Complete accurate progress notes and required documentation
· Follow individual care plans, risk assessments and support procedures
· Maintain professional boundaries and participant confidentiality
· Work collaboratively with participants, families and the wider Angelic Care team
Essential Requirements
· Minimum 2 years' experience within disability, community or complex care
· Demonstrated experience providing personal care
· Experience supporting participants within their homes and the community
· Availability to work weekends, active nights and sleepovers
· Manual handling experience
· Medication assistance competency
· Current NDIS Worker Screening Check
· Current Blue Card / Working with Children Check where required
· Current First Aid and CPR
· Valid Australian Driver Licence
· Reliable, insured vehicle
· Strong written communication and documentation skills
