JOB OVERVIEW:

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Disability Support Worker to join our team. In this role, you will provide high-quality, person-centered care to individuals with disabilities, promoting their independence, well-being, and inclusion in the community. QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS:

• Experience:
• Previous experience in a similar role, particularly within disability or community support settings, is preferred.
• First Aid and CPR
• NDIS Workers Check

• Personal Care & Daily Living:
• Assist clients with personal hygiene, dressing, grooming, and medication administration.
• Support clients in daily activities such as meal preparation, housekeeping, and mobility.
• Client Support & Development:
• Implement and monitor individualized care plans tailored to each client’s needs.
• Encourage participation in community activities and social interactions to foster independence and inclusion.
• Health & Safety:
• Provide first-aid and respond promptly to emergencies, ensuring a safe environment for all clients.
• Maintain accurate and confidential records of client progress, incidents, and care provided.
• Team Collaboration:
• Work closely with healthcare professionals, family members, and community organizations to ensure holistic support.
• Participate in regular team meetings and training sessions to enhance skills and share best practices.
• Transportation & Mobility Support:
• Assist with transportation to appointments, community events, and social engagements when required.
