  • How You’ll Make an Impact
  • As a Disability Support Worker with One Doorway, you will join a dedicated team of carers who provide person-centred support to people with disabilities in their own homes.
  • A day in the life as a Disability Support Worker with One Doorway may include:
    • Supporting participants to work towards their goals in alignment with their NDIS plan, with a strong focus on safety, dignity, and individual outcomes
    • Providing in-home support with health requirements, personal care, and daily living tasks in line with participant needs and Care Team support plans
    • Delivering person-centred care and support based on individual needs and support plans. Including the delivery of activities that build capacity and develop skills across physical, social, emotional, and intellectual domains
    • Completing accurate progress notes and documentation after each shift.
    • Working respectfully alongside families, health professionals and internal care teams to achieve great outcomes while developing and maintaining positive relationships with all stakeholders.
  • Where required, provide:
    • Behavioural and Mental Health Support 
    • Assistance with medication administration
    • Expertise working with a range of Disabilities
