Female Support Workers Required - Dianella - $43.23 p/h
Empowered Living Disability Services is looking for 3-4 female support workers to join the team to help support a participant requiring 24/7 care.
Permanent Shift Available:
- Wednesdays 6am-5pm
Cover Shifts Available:
- Thursday 6am-5pm in 2 week’s time
About the Participant:
- She is a 29 year old female who loves music, singing, going to concerts, and volunteering at the children’s hospital, and going out with her support dog
- She has ASD, non-epileptic seizures, and requires personal care assistance
- She requires someone reliable yet flexible, as her health conditions can vary and significantly increase or decrease her independence
About the Applicant:
The successful applicant will:
- Be native/fluent English speaking
- Be okay with dogs (she has a support dog)
- Be able to drive confidently with participant in their car
- Have experience with Autism (must)
- Have experience with seizure management (preferred)
- PEG feeding and medication administration experience preferred
- People with nursing backgrounds and mental health experience strongly encouraged to apply
