Responsibilities

THE ROLE

Empowerment Care Services is seeking a dedicated and experienced disability support worker to provide exceptional care to high-care participants. In this role, you will facilitate age-appropriate activities, promote the wellness of the participants, assist with in-home care, and enable meaningful community access. Your work will ensure that our participants not only receive the highest quality of care but are also encouraged to participate fully in daily life.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Client Engagement: Assist our participant in participating in a wide range of activities, including employment tasks, independent living at home, and community outings.
  • Direct Care: Provide personal care assistance and support in line with the individualized support plans and under the direct guidance of the Team Leader.
  • Health & Safety: Administer medications in accordance with established policies, ensuring adherence to all Work Health and Safety requirements.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with team members to continuously review and enhance the quality of care, ensuring it meets the participant’s needs effectively.
