About the Role

As a Disability Support Worker, you will provide person-centred support to participants living in Supported Independent Living (SILS) homes and community settings.

Your responsibilities may include:

• Supporting participants with daily living activities
• Personal care, manual handling and mobility assistance
• Medication assistance and documentation
• Community access and social support
• Promoting independence, choice and inclusion
• Completing sleepover and overnight support shifts
• Maintaining accurate progress notes and reports

About You To be successful, you will have:

• Previous Disability Support Worker experience
• Experience working within SILS environments
• Availability to work sleepover and overnight shifts
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• A person-centred and participant-focused approach
• Reliability, flexibility and professionalism
• Essential RequirementsMinimum 6 months recent disability support experience
• Experience supporting participants in SILS settings
• Current NDIS Worker Screening Check
• Current Working With Children Check
• Current National Police Check
• Current First Aid & CPR Certification
• Valid Driver's Licence and reliable transport (preferred)
• Up-to-date vaccinations and compliance documentation
