REQUIREMENTS:

• Experience with personal care (highly regarded)
• Current driver’s licence
• Willingness to use personal car for transporting clients (mileage reimbursed)
• Previous experience working with clients with complex behaviours (highly regarded)

ABOUT THE ROLE:

As a Disability Support Worker, you will support individuals with disabilities to live independently, achieve their goals, and participate actively in the community. This role may involve providing personal care, transport, and assistance with daily living activities.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Providing personal care and support in daily activities
• Supporting clients during community participation and appointments
• Managing and responding to behavioural challenges when required
• Promoting independence, dignity, and well-being for all clients
• Maintaining accurate and detailed documentation and progress notes
