Comfort N Care Support is growing, and we’re looking for both male and female Disability Support Workers to join our team.

We have a range of ongoing shifts available across Supported Independent Living (SIL) homes and community-based supports, including weekdays, weekends and sleepovers.

We’re not just looking for someone to fill a shift.

We’re looking for people who are reliable, genuine, down-to-earth and committed to providing great support. Someone who understands that every participant is different and that good disability support is about helping people live their life their way.

What Your Day Might Look Like

No two shifts are exactly the same. Depending on the participant you're supporting, you may be:

• Supporting someone to get out and about in the community
• Heading to appointments, shopping, activities or social outings
• Assisting with personal care and daily routines
• Preparing meals and helping around the home
• Supporting participants to build independence and achieve their goals
• Working within a SIL home as part of a support team
• Providing companionship and genuine social connection
• Completing shift notes and following individual support plans
• Working sleepover, evening or weekend shifts
