Job Title: Disability Support Worker, Level 3 - Pay Point 2

Salary & Benefits:

• $37.95 – $42 per hour base rate + superannuation + Allowances
• Annual salary reviews

• min 3 hour shift through to 9 hour per day, up to 7 days per week

Employment Type: Casual, Part Time, Full Time

Casual position to start with and change to permanent/ full time for right applicant.

Career Growth: Ongoing training will be provided.

About the Role:

Become part of a dedicated and supportive team delivering essential care to individuals in the community. As a Support Worker, you will use your experience in mental health and community services to provide responsive, high-quality support that promotes independence and wellbeing.

Duties may include:

• Personal care, hygiene and daily living support
• Manual handling, mobility assistance and use of associated equipment
• Community access and transport
• Monitoring and reporting health-related changes
• Working alongside allied health teams
• Completing accurate shift notes and documentation
• Sleepovers at clients homes if you would like

About You:

• Previous experience in mental health, disability, or community services
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to manage challenging situations with empathy and professionalism
• Strong organisational and time management skills
• Passion for supporting individuals to live fulfilling and independent lives
• NDIS Worker Screening Check (or willing to obtain immediately)
• Working With Children Check
• First Aid & CPR
• Valid Driver’s Licence and reliable vehicle
