🧩 About the Role

As a Support Worker, you'll provide tailored assistance to individuals with disability, neurodivergence, and complex needs. Your role may include:

  • Providing in-home and community-based support
  • Assisting with daily routines, emotional regulation, and social engagement
  • Supporting clients to access activities, appointments, and outings
  • Encouraging independence, creativity, and confidence
  • Collaborating with families, carers, and team leaders to ensure continuity of care
  • Maintaining accurate, respectful documentation and communication

💡 We're Looking For

  • A supportive, calm, and compassionate approach that empowers participants through strengths‑based, person‑led practice
  • Experience or understanding of physical and intellectual disabilities, autism, ADHD, anxiety, PTSD, sensory processing needs, neurological conditions (such as epilepsy or ABI), mobility impairments, communication disorders, chronic health conditions, and trauma‑informed support
  • Strong communication skills and emotional intelligence
  • Ability to follow detailed support plans and adapt to individual needs
  • Respect for client dignity, privacy, and autonomy
  • Commitment to safety, compliance, and ethical practice
