Responsibilities:
- Provide direct care and support to individuals with disabilities in various settings, including assisted living facilities, nursing homes, and private residences.
- Assist with activities of daily living, such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Administer medications according to prescribed schedules and document any changes or reactions.
- Provide emotional support and companionship to individuals in need.
- Follow care plans and communicate any changes or concerns to supervisors or healthcare professionals.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for individuals under your care.
Experience:
- Previous experience in caregiving or related fields is preferred.
- Familiarity with patient care procedures and protocols.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with individuals with disabilities, their families, and healthcare professionals.
- Ability to handle stressful situations with empathy and patience.
REQUIREMENTS
-Possess a Clean Police Check
-Possess a Diploma or Degree in Social Services, Disability Support ,Child and Youth Work or equivalent
-Possess a valid CPR certificate
-CPI Certified
