SUPPORT WORKER WANTED – ALLIED HEALTH/PHYSIO STUDENT PREFERRED

We are seeking a reliable and attentive support worker to assist a client with a spinal cord injury (SCI). This role is ideal for a 1st-year Physiotherapy or Allied Health student, though others with relevant skills and availability are encouraged to apply.

Staff Requirements:

• Male or Female
• Preferably a university student in Allied Health (Physiotherapy, OT, etc.)
• Neat, clean, and tidy
• Excellent attention to detail and patience
• Comfortable working in a restricted space

Skills Required:

• Personal care
• Colostomy and catheter care
• Manual handling (hoist transfers)
• Exercises/Physiotherapy support
• Skin care

Shift Times:

• Daily support shifts: 6:30am – 9:30am and 7:15pm – 9:15pm
• Physio shift: Thursdays 10:15am – 12:15pm

Required Shifts: Week One:

• Thursday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday (6:30am – 9:30am)
