About the role

Nightingale Home Healthcare provides exceptional care and support to individuals with complex needs. We are seeking dedicated and compassionate High-Intensity Support Workers to join our dynamic team.

Key responsibilities

• Provide high-quality, personalised support to clients with complex physical and mental health needs.
• Assist with activities of daily living including personal care, medication management, and meal preparation.
• Implement and follow individual care plans to ensure clients' safety, dignity, and well-being.
• Foster a supportive and inclusive environment, encouraging clients to achieve their personal goals.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals, families, and other support workers to deliver comprehensive care.
• Monitor and report on client's progress, documenting changes and updating care plans as necessary.

About you

• Previous experience in a high-intensity support role or a related field.
• Relevant qualifications (e.g. Certificate III in Disability, Mental Health, or similar).
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. You are an emotionally intelligent person.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and nights. You are committed to working.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to remain calm under pressure.
• A valid driver's licence and access to a reliable vehicle with comprehensive insurance.
• You'll need - National police clearance, NDIS screening check, Working with children check and a current First aid and CPR certification (+ the 'regular' NDIS courses).
