JOB SUMMARY :-

To provide professional companionship and personal care to clients based on their individual needs/desires and via an established/documented care plan. Work directly with the client, their families and friends, reporting to their Nurse Next Door Care Designer ensuring continuity of care. Supporting every client in promoting Happier Ageing®, and providing safe client care in accordance with the Australian Aged Care Quality Standards and Nurse Next Door policies.

CAREGIVER REQUIREMENTS :-

We provide care 24/7, so visits may be scheduled early morning, afternoon, evening, or overnight to meet our clients’ needs

  • Cert III in Aged/Disability/Community Care
  • Two positive professional references
  • National Police Check (Aged care specific)
  • Working with Childrens Check
  • Ability to travel independently and reliably to client’s visits
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Completion of eLearning
  • Disability Workers Exclusion Team Check (to be completed by Nurse Next Door)

Job Type: Casual
Pay: $32.73 – $58.91 per hour

Responsibilities
  • Creates Happier Ageing® experiences and client focused care in home and community settings
  • Delivers on our Brand Promise by owning the client’s experience, ensuring that you do whatever it takes to bring peace of mind to our clients and their families
  • Assists clients with activities of daily living: healthy meal preparation, personal care, light housekeeping, errands, companionship, transportation, etc.
  • Meets safety standards, using equipment safely and accurately
  • Provides premium care approach to clients and their family members
  • Responds to Care Services Center (CSC) Team regarding scheduling inquiries and updates within the agreed timelines
  • Reviews the care plan prior to all visits, completing records accurately and completing all tasks as requested
  • Engages in open communication with your Care Designer when opportunities to elevate your client’s experience and care are identified
  • Updates availability and leave requests (as per stated expectations) with HR to ensure continuity of care for your client
  • Knowledge and understanding of basic infection control principles
